Reference force transducers

ISO 376, EN 12390-4, ASTM E74

SENSY offers a complete range of standard reference force transducers, compliant with ISO 376 standard, for the control of uni-axial testing machines.

The range of SENSY force sensors is very wide. It is characterised by a measurement range from 200 N to 50 MN (tension and/or compression) and accuracy up to class 00. These sensors can also comply with ASTM E74.

These standard reference force sensors normally provide an unamplified output signal (mV / V). However, they can also be equipped with a digital interface (usually USB but also RS-232 or RS-485) to connect them directly to a computer and thus save on the cost of measurement electronics.

On request, it is also possible to design and manufacture custom-made force sensors to fit the particular dimensions of your testing machine.

In addition, SENSY also proposes the 3115F-2 MN model with 4 independent measuring bridges that meets the EN 12390-4 standard dedicated to testing hardened concrete. Under certain conditions, it is possible to combine the required features for both EN 12390 and ISO 376 in the same sensor.

Currently, there is no standard for standard reference torque sensors. Nevertheless, our torque transducers can also be designed and manufactured with the aim of making them standard reference sensors.

More detailed explanations on the operation of standard reference force sensors are available on our "Technology" pages.
