Whether for the development of prototypes or to provide safety functions on aircraft series, SENSY develops and supplies numerous force and torque transducers for the aeronautical sector.
These sensors are often miniature and custom-made to match the client’s specifications.
Some of the applications SENSY has encountered so far include:
- Multiaxial force and torque measurement for joysticks, controller and rudder pedals;
- Measurement of the force generated by a trimmable horizontal stabilizer actuator (THSA);
- Measurement of the force exerted on the flaps.
Obviously, this equipment must meet the stringent requirements specific to any aircraft onboard equipment: initially this covers technical aspects: weight, reliability, overload resistance, accuracy, etc.
Secondly, it concerns the quality assurance system: traceability, manufacturing according to the EN9100 standard, control of the first product (FAI), etc.
